My Vision, contribution to the world, my goal, or Bucket List so to speak is to reach and touch 3,000,000 people and challenge them to forgive someone or say they are sorry. Can you imagine the impact on individual lives and the world?

 

My Vision came about with The Forgiveness Card.

 

I begin my story with a search for what I wanted to do in my life to “make a difference”. After selling a real estate business, I took time to wrap things up, exercise, get married, spend time with my family and friends…..

One day on the beach in Florida., I knew that I wanted to start a card company and began to take beautiful photos and making greeting cards. After reading “The Secret” on a September trip with my husband Jim, we realized that we wanted to be able to “give back”, thus PayItForwardCards.com company was created. For every online order, the consumer chooses a charity and a portion of the proceeds goes there. But, even that didn’t seem like my complete “purpose.” 

Given a gift certificate to a bookstore for Christmas, I stumbled upon “The Power of Now” by Eckhart Tolle. 

Next in the chain of events was my sister emailing me the link for the class with Oprah and Eckhart Tolle on his new book, “A New Earth”. 

Returning to Florida on an apprehensive trip to be with my mother and my other sister (with which we shared a very distant, uncomfortable relationship), I bought “A New Earth” and began reading prior to my arrival.  

The transformation in my life has been phenomenal!  My mother, sister and I enjoyed each other with laughter, tears and emotional healing and forgiveness. We have a renewed relationship.  On the last day of the trip, I rose before the sunrise and went to the beach with my camera. In awe and with nature, you can see the shot was incredible.

 

Back in NH, making cards with this wonderful shot and listening to music, I began to sob. You see, I had been angry with someone for way too long. This woman had hurt me deeply after being my dear friend and confidant. I realized for the first time that it was easier for me to be angry with her than to feel and deal with the pain of loss… loss of the friendship, loss of a sister-in-law, and loss of another intact family. 

Inspired, I made a card for her and drove with my daughter to her place of work. We embraced and cried and forgave. 

THE FORGIVENESS CARD was born!

I then went to my husband’s ex-wife and the hardest of them all, my ex-husband whom we had a 6 year divorce and custody battle. As I handed them THE FORGIVENESS CARD I said to each of them in person: “From my heart, I am truly sorry for anything I have said or done that has hurt you. “ Miracles are happening. My children wept and are healing. 

I know that my contribution to the world is THE FORGIVENESS CARD and spreading forgiveness. I can and will make a difference in helping others begin long overdue healing. Ultimately, I want for the world more peace, more harmony, and more happiness!
